Bridging The Gap Between Your Existing Business Systems and Contact Management Software

Sales Management Plus starts by passively importing current transaction data from your existing business accounting system. It uses selected fields as the foundation of a second database for use by the Sales Management Plus Client running on your personal PC. (Sales Management Plus only imports data from your business system; it’s incapable of writing to it.) Since Sales Management Plus’ new database is kept independent from your existing business system, both systems operate with maximum speed. Sales Management Plus’ database is then also uniformly available to your management, marketing, and sales staff; meaning everybody always works with the most recent data.

          
What It Does and How It Works

Sales Managers
Sales Managers can more effectively manage by analyzing historical data associated with an individual’s overall performance, or performance at specific accounts. Then he or she can examine margin levels, and identify sales holes and areas where more effort or accountability is required. (For example, quickly identify customers who buy your light bulbs, but not your light fixtures.)

Outside Sales can focus their efforts on targeted, qualified accounts. Sales people can perform the same analysis as the sales managers, but on a more personal basis, providing an additional level of pro-activity.
Inside Sales
Sales Management Plus' global database allows the inside staff to also assist existing sales efforts by maintaining and updating customer contact data.  They can also contribute by merging existing information with new information from customer lists compiled at trade shows, or data purchased from suppliers like Dun & Bradstreet.  Sales Management Plus lets them confidently solicit new business by offering them summarized sales data to highlight what lines are selling and not selling at each account.
Marketing Managers
As a Marketing Manager, you will appreciate how Sales Management Plus taps the power of MS Office to complete tasks such as producing a personalized newsletter, sending out a personalized broadcast fax, or a personalized broadcast email. In this example the distributor could use Sales Management Plus to target all customers who purchased a PLC within the last year, refine the list of contacts within those customers who might benefit from training, and send out a graphical e-mail that ties the customer back to the distributors website for more information and to register for the class, all in a matter of minutes.
