"Today we held the most successful counter day in our view and in the view of our 20 vendors that contributed. Part of the success I attributed to the first two emailers that we sent to our customers. Our lead story both times was our upcoming event. The second one went out the Tuesday before the event. I think part of the success was the fact that several got a “reminder” 2 days ago.

Every vendor said it was the most successful event they had participated in over a year, despite the economy. The vendors indicated that the past events this year, according to them, have seen attendance of 66%. How much of our success was helped by the reminder they got Tuesday?
